Usi side by side combo snack problem

Recommended Posts

If all of the display segments are not showing then the only thing to try is disconnecting and reconnecting any harnesses between the logic board and the display board.  If that doesn't fix it then you need a new display board.

As to the motor issue, if you don't have I-Vend on your machine and vend sensors on the ends of the delivery bin (you probably don't on the GF12) then you need to make sure that the Optics setting is OFF.  Go into the service mode and press 3 to see OPtn on the display.  Press 6 to select that Option and you'll see oPty which means Optics Yes.  Change it to oPtn by pressing 6 again.  Now press * twice to exit this mode and see if your motors now run a complete cycle.

If you still have motor problems then you need to go into the service mode again and press 4 to see CbS.  Now press 3 until you see ALL on the display and then press 1 to scroll to SnAc to default the machine to be a snack.  Press * twice to exit and then reenter the service mode.  Now press 4 to see CbS, then press 2 to see ro-, for a Row selection.  Press 8 and you will see the default of SnAc.  Press 1 until you see either CAn or bott for the product size in most of your soda selections.  Press # to save it and then * three times to exit.  Now if the can/bottle setting you chose is not correct for all selections you must go back to the CbS setting and then press 1 and wait for CB-- to appear.  Press selection 80 and you'll see the current can/bottle setting for that selection.  Press 1 to toggle between can and bottle and then press # to save the setting.  Now repeat this for all selections 81 - 85.  After you set your last selection and save it with the # key, then press * three times to exit.  Now test all of your motors.

The USI boards are pretty pricey even for rebuilt ones so you're looking at $189 for a rebuilt board.  I will need to know if your board is green or blue as there are differences in them.
