cvending Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 As AZ stated, it must be MDB ready as well,as Newer EPROMs in machine. We had a 501e that had older software in board and would just light up red. Updated eprom and works fine now. You may need to do the same. Call PayRange at 855-856-6398 and talk to tech services. gdevine Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 Call National Vendors and ask for the latest eprom version for the 431. Install the eprom then you will have an option of card or no card. You select card, MDB Card then it will work. Earlier version of the 431 software did not allow you to select a card reader even though they were MDB capable.
