AZVendor Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 I don't know what model Royal you're calling an 8000 but is the machine showing the unpaid .25 change on the display after the vend completes or does the display go back to zero? If it holds the .25 then the machine is set on Multi Vend and is waiting for the credit (plus a bit more) to be used on another vend. If a vend isn't made within an preset time period then the machine will refund the remaining credit. Access the programming to turn multi Vend off. If instead, the machine simply makes the vend and doesn't pay the change, then you either have a stuck coin in the bottom of the quarter tube or you have a worn out payout assembly and the coin mech must be rebuilt.
