El123
Hi, I've recently acquired a Jofemar Star 7 cigarette vending machine for a home project. The only manuals I can find online are in Spanish, I've also attempted to contact the manufacturers but they never got back to me. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this machine or anything similar ? I'm having trouble trying to set prices, and was also curious if anyone knows about setting the prices to zero ? Or if this is even possible. Thanks in advance !
AZVendor
Welcome to the forum. Jofemar is a manufacturer from Spain who thought it would be a great idea to come to the land of plenty and sell machines. In the US they are based in Florida so most of the machines they have sold are in the southeast and on the east coast. This is their website but you might have already tried it. They should answer their phone if they are still in business and the can transfer you to tech support. http://www.jofemarusa.com/

"__00" PROGRAMMING PRICES The display will indicate "__00". When you press a key, the display will show the current price channel associated with that key. If we want to change it, you press on the same key and the price is initialized to a minimum value (the base currency) and following keystrokes they will increasing. Pressing recovery price increases by leaps and older If you hold the same key, the price will increase rapidly. When the wallet is a MDB the maximum price that can be set is the result of the sum of 15 coins of each type you have in tubes coin purse. For example, with a combination of shift of 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.50 and € 1.00 in the tubes, the result is: (15x0.05) + (15x0.10) + (15x0.20) + (15x0.50) + (15x1.00) = 27.75 When the wallet is an executive the maximum price that can be set is 250 x base currency. Not sure if it helps....
