AZ is right on on those cheap china made combos!

You don't want them!

Stay away from them completely!

Hi Cajun,

Do you mean the AP4000 are junk ?

They are ok but it needs major repairs its not worth it.

Like an old van that still runs well but it doesn't take much to total it.

The thing is that if i get these machines i could possible pay a "bulk" rate and place them in places with the locator, that would give me an opportunity to get a few routes and get going, or i could buy less machines and take my time selecting them..

Not sure, I'm exploring all the possible options..

Hi Cajun,

Not all of them is considered worth putting money into.

The ones I junked was sitting in a storage unit for over 10 years, and rust got to them.

The AP 6600XL I took out was still in good shape and just needed a good basic cleaning and a board in it to work.

It has a factory built in chiller, never been worked on by anybody. It is in a hot machine shop and makes me good money with the chiller

keeping the product cool.

The price AZ gave you is for a working AP4000, because of their age.

So if you find a AP4000, make sure it works and don't pay a arm and a leg for one.

So what's the best approach on building a 10-15 machine route ? I'm using a locator and was thinking split in half snack and soda, as we're going to push for a snack and soda machine on each location..

Any thoughts ??

The usi snack machines were 3129 with satellites

The cb700 usi 3151

The other two pop machines are usi ten select

The other stuff was cash sales history which kinda gives me a idea of how much stuff has went threw it.

Cash sales

cb700 was 2130.00 I think

The 3129 one was 100.00 n 213.00

The other two pops was less than 2000.00

What's a locater

Your most reliable approach is to get some good soda machines, dump the locator and place them yourself in some auto body, muffler shops etc.  If any of them show great promise you can add the snacks later.  In the meantime, you could figure on servicing these once a month if you load them up and probably pull about $200 apiece out of them each month which is easy money.

Everything you've said so far has turned out to be true, so i think i would take you advise, the only problem i just can't seem to do good in selling or convincing anyone.. Anyway, I will try few places..

These places are pretty easy to get because the big boys ignore them since they aren't big enough to warrant a snack machine.  It's amazing how many sodas some mechanics can go through in a month and you're only stocking about ten products - not the forty or so you need with snack machines.
