Dekinha
What are your opinion about the USI machines, are they good quality, few troubleshooting? what do you think about it? Which model is the best? and everything else would like to say about these machines.

Now days all the new machines are built like crap so it's probably a toss up. The one I'd buy new would be the AMS Outsider as it's built a little stronger than the rest. RJT
I have had great service out of them with little issues.
AZVendor
There is no "best" machine from any manufacturer due to the number of models that each builds. You need to evaluate each location on it's own merits and then obtain the appropriate machine for that location.

Plus, refrigeration is just one more thing to break if it is not needed. Also, not sure what new machines you have bought but they are fine in my opinion from USI, Crane and AMS. Really not much different as far as quality than the machines of the past in their offerings.

kiwi
You will always get differing opinions on vending machines from different vending manufactures but I always remember a statement on here that a wise man once said.... "Truth be told vending machines are like cars nowadays. They all do what is needed and there is no best machine out there. They all have idiosyncrasies and the best machine for you should be the one you can deal with the best."

I'd buy one with the chill unit even if I didn't need it immediately as it's much cheaper to get it as a package than trying to add one later and the chill unit can always be unplugged if not needed. Having refurbished many snack machines, I can tell you that the USI machines have been flimsy for years - the sheet metal work is so poor you can cut your finger off in one of them if you aren't careful. I own an AP Studio 1 with chill deck and the quality of that machine is pathetic compared to the old 7600. and I've carefully examined the new Crane Merchants, there's a Crane service center here, and I was appalled at all the plastic parts especially on the front of the cabinet. Yes they work but I doubt you'll be so proud of them in five years.

Yes they work but I doubt you'll be so proud of them in five years. I have been refurbishing and buying and dealing with almost every brand of machines for the better part of 15 years now and can tell you the quality from one to another (USI, AMS, Crane, AP) is not that big of a difference. I dont like single coil design of the older machines which is the problem with many of the older machines. The issue that comes into play with new machines is keeping cost somewhat affordable and keeping up with all the new technology. You are going to have some trade offs with some of it. Back when the AP 7600 was produced the cost of doing business was a lot different than it is today. My main concern is it functions correctly with little maintenance and parts are available at a reasonable price. Don't get me wrong I like features from each one and don't like something about each brand. IMO AMS is pretty bland and does not look as good as the Crane but is built solid with reasonable parts cost, the Crane is going to be harder to refurb because of the new design but looks really good and has good support, USI is nice but does not look as good as the Crane and parts are a bit more expensive. So each one has its good points and bad points.

Nowdays everything is like "do fast and last as long as it took to build"
