Usi 3037 10 selection drink machine, I think I know

Recommended Posts

I bought two a couple of weeks ago, I put one at one of my factories, the coin mec was empty from where i bought it,

It has three white plugs n long rectangular plug for the coin mec, I used the white average plug,

Ok filled dimes, nickles up, the quarters I filled about a third.

It's about 120 in there, I'm sweating like crazy lol

It won't except dollars, changed dollar mec this I used white plug and the long black rectangular plug for the side box n still nothing,

After cooling down on the way home I'm thinking since both didn't work it might need to be full of quarters before it works n run some chainge threw it some, what do u all think

It needs nickels at least, but yes, fill the coin mech up at least 1/3rd full. Make sure you actually have product in the machine and please post a picture. Personally, I don't know what you're talking about with the wires and all.

It sounds like you have a Mars validator from the white and black plugs and your coin mech should be a 9302L.  All of the coin tubes need at least 15 coins to enable the validator.  If your validator is a VFM then it's probably bad.

Yea all the tubes have at least 30 or more coins, the coin mec registers as u put change in, when I go back I'll tske some pics, the coin mec uses the big plug to plug into the machine 12 pin I think

As always I appreciate all the help

Coin mec 9302-L

Mag32r

I tried several dollar mec and still nothing, coin mec works great

The dollar mec front lights up but will not even try to take a dollar,

I bought a lot of these a few weeks back, all of them has worked great

So far,

As u was driving home tonite I remember this one had holes on the

Side of it where they had a dollar changer on it, I was wondering could

The board be bad where it won't accept dollars

I've never seen a MAG32R so I did some research and it appears to be a more like a billpro that looks like a MAG.

I don't know what's up with that harness. I don't understand it at all. I mean, is it hardwired into the validator or can you unplug it?

It looks as though coinco did this in order to fix up older machines that take a 24v bill acceptor but you can generally get a used mars to do that.

It's weird. Nonetheless, I'm thinking the problem is either with your coin mech, the harness, or the board.

What's been throwing me off is that you stated that "it" has three white plugs and one long one for the coin mech. Based off of the pictures (and my knowledge of the machine, that doesn't make sense. The bill acceptor and the coin mech plug into the control board on that machine. Even in the picture, the coin mech appears to be plugged into the machine.

PS. It kind of looks like your 3-headed harness contraption is plugged into another harness that goes to the board and somewhere else. I suspect the problem is that you don't have the right harness... But much of what you have is unusual to see in a machine.

The 32R validator is a 24v MDB or Micromech validator and it has a built in logic board for tight installations.  That's why there are three white plugs on the harness coming from it.  It the validator was used in an MDB application then you wouldn't use the 9 pin white connector but rather the two MDB connectors - one to the machine and one to the coin mech because the validator is always the middleman in MDB circuits.  I don't see it in this photo but there is also a black 18 pin connector (Mars type) that needs to plug into the bottom of the 32R for communication because the 9 pin is only for power in this instance.  I think you said it is plugged in to the validator which makes sense because you have flashing leds on the front of the bezel.  You might try changing the pulse level on the validator by changing the position of DIP switch 3 and see if that helps.  If none of that works and other validators do the same thing then try a 24v MEI validator.  If that still fails then you will need to try another logic board.

Yea az In leaning toward a bad board? But three coin changers came with the deal with the these machines I bought so I'm Gonna put one to use n bolt one to the side where one once was

Please don't be offended by this, but bolting a cheapy bill changer to the side of the machine is a redneck way to fix it.
