ayden55 Posted June 28, 2015 Share Posted June 28, 2015 Hello! I recently purchased a soda vending machine that someone broke into where the bill validator is. It is a Royal RVCDE-650-10. With Safeway "Livery." I bought it for $60.00. I am hoping to get anything good out of it, and then scrap the rest. The bill validator seems to be fine, but it is missing the bill/cash box. Does anyone know where I can buy just the cash/bill box for a Coinco BP2BX bill validator? Is it a reasonably priced part? Also, I know this is a dumb question, but in the 2 years I've been vending, I've never removed a bill validator from a machine. The one time I needed to replace one, my friend volunteered to do it. My question is, what tool(s) are required to remove a bill validator from a machine? As I mentioned, it is a Coinco BP2BX. Also, I didn't want to have to make another topic, so I'll just ask another question in this topic... How can I get just the tubes for the Coinco Vortex VTX-100-00 Coin Mech? I have the mech, but the tubes are missing. Thank you very much for any help! -Ayden P.S. I attached some files of the machine... Sorry for the bad lighting. One is right above where the bills go into the machine, where the crooks pried open the metal. I bought it about a month ago. The seller said it was broken into, and sold it to me as-is. It's been in my garage ever since I bought it. Trying to figure out what parts I should take out before I scrap it. Any ideas? Thanks again! CajunCandy Posted June 28, 2015 Share Posted June 28, 2015 Good parts are cooling deck, board and all motors from machine. If you have other Royals 650's, then you have spare parts. In any event the chill deck alone is easily worth the money though it may take you awhile to find somebody that needs one, the Royal decks last a long time. Most validators are held in with 11/32 nuts so you'll need a socket with extension to remove the validator - you've been lucky to go two years without having to do this.
