allprovending
I have a Dixie Narco 501e. The lights and refrigeration works but nothing else. I have checked all the wires and even tried switching out the control board but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

cvending
When you say nothing works, does that mean display is blank or just won't vend? Can you enter into programming mode? Are there lights on the validator or coin mech?

allprovending
No display does not work so I cant enter programming mode and no lights on the validator or coin mech. I was going to switch out the transformer but the lights are connected to that as well right? So I'm assuming the transformer is not the issue? AZVendor
The light ballast and logic transformer are on the same circuit. The display, coin mech and validator are all driven off the logic board. If a known good board was used then you should check for proper voltage from the transformer. However, what might really be happening is that a bad coin mech or validator is blowing a logic board fuse or actually blowing the board. Check the transformer output first with it unplugged from the board. If that checks okay then remove the cover from the board and check for one of the three fuses in the top right corner being blown. If one is bad then you MUST replace it with the same fuse. Then unplug the coinage and see if the display works. If it does, power off and plug only the coin mech in, power up and see if the fuse blows. If it doesn't and the machine works fine on coins then your validator is bad.
