allen watson
I randomly get this message on my Coke machine (Not In Service). It clears when I open the door. Any help would be appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
AZVendor
Which logic board, MPC, SII or SIID? This could be a motor switch harness, logic board or coin mech. When you open the door the machine will go into the service mode, then when closing it will scan motors and peripherals. It sounds like going into the service mode is correcting the "not in service" message so do any motors home themselves at that time or do any products drop? If so then you have a motor switch harness issue so check your connection at the logic board and then at the connection by the light ballast. Also check for a damaged wire to the left of the motors. allen watson
I found a bad connection at a motor switch and the vend sensor unplugged at the board. I wonder why it has to put the whole machine out if service? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
AZVendor
If the switch connection is loose at the board then the board can't see any motor switches and will go out of service. What "vend sensor" are you referring to?
allen watson
Looks like event center down on the delivery shoot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Event = vend sensor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
AZVendor
A DN600CC should be a T-model and there are no vend sensors on them. Is this a Vendo?
allen watson
Dixie narco DNCB600CC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It's the one we put a board on a while back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
AZVendor
Then that's a T-model so there are no sensors on them and I have no idea what you're seeing that appears to be a sensor.
allen watson
A cable runs from the board to a module attached to the delivery bin. Looks like a sensor of some sort. I'll take a picture of it next time I'm there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

CajunCandy
On my DN 276E coke machine, I have the same sensor. It is connected to board and has a sensor in delivery chute. No Idea what it is for. Cajun
AngryChris
Probably an idea that Dixie had that machines could be converted to have drop sensors.
allen watson
Thanks Cajun. I was beginning to think someone put s DN tag on a Vendo. I wish it was Vendo because we wouldn't be having this conversation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
AZVendor
I've never heard of this or seen it ever before so I'd really like to see photos of the sensor, where it plugs into the board and any programming associated with it.

cvending
On Dixie Narco stack vendors that I have seen with sensors were the old, short lived Flex-Pak models.
