lacanteen
I have some National 431 food boards that I want to convert to 167 snack. Is it as simple as just changing the EPROM? The food boards have 431.19 software. I have snack EPROMS 158.23, 158.28 and 158.29. The boards are the older ones with the Dallas chip next to the EPROM. I will admit, that I tried it, and the payment systems (coin, bill, & card) in the snack power up, but I get nothing else: No response from service keypad, customer keypad, or credit display. What am I missing?
AZVendor
After installing the new eprom you need to perform a Ram Clear :http://dsvendinginc.com/pdf-manuals/RAMCLEAR.pdf . After that then you need to go into the machine configuration and set the board to the SNACK configuration. If you need to enter the Supervisor Mode then that code is 0000. Here is the programming manual: http://dsvendinginc.com/pdf-manuals/nv_157_158_257_258_464_465_484_485_486_487_488_489_497_498_program.pdf
