laip51
Bought a Crane 148 and found one tray not vending. This is probably the frequent cause of needing the kit to go harness rather than plugin. One of the receiving connectors had a broken plastic spring holder and connector hung down. Replaced with good one and then learned something else after an hour of trials and adjustments. Hope everyone has a laugh. Or if not, here is a further move necessary for the terminally ignorant REBOOT! Then it works. We think we might have a fix for this particular problem. A popsicle stick cut to size that will keep the plastic spring clips so they don't lose tight fit. Maybe someone else has a fix for this problem? Maybe best thing is add the tray cable kit to keep all working smooth.

A simple price check will ensure you're good to go so you don't have to make an actual purchase.
AZVendor
They old tray connectors is why the harness kits were created and should be used. Otherwise you'll keep getting problems like that.
