PalletGuy
Hello, I own a company and I have a bunch of customers that don't have vending machines at their locations. One of my customers agreed to let me setup a machine if I'd like to try it. So I figured I would buy 1 machine to try it and if it goes good, then purchase a second and so on. I found a vm-150 snack time on top of a vm-250 drink time, and attached change time attached. The guy is firm on 500. He says it all works as should and is currently running as we speak. Are mechanical machines good for a first machine or should I get a electronic one? I'm looking to spend 500-600 on a machine. Thank you all for any help. AZVendor
Please, as we have counselled others, don't waste your money on any mechanical machines. They are never worth more than 1 or 2 hundred and will never perform profitably. The seller was probably ripped off by someone before and is trying to get some of his money back. Don't be the next victim. Put your money into real vending machines as you won't regret operating professionally. Use single price can machines and avoid any snacks until you are sure you want to stay in the business. By the way, vending is all work so if you don't have the time for this then don't want waste your money. There's a reason no machines are in those spots and it's probaby that they are bad locations. Just because there are no machines there doesn't mean they should have any.
RJT
No do NOT waste your money. If you are going to try vending get off on the right foot and do it right from the start or you will fail like so many before you.
bspells
Don't waste your money. If you want to start small and on the right foot, you'll want to get some small machines like an AMS SlimGem and Vendo 312. Run it to the best of your ability and kill 'em with kindness, then focus on expanding. Keep in mind that there may be a reason they don't have a vending machine. PerformaVending
A very wise man once told me that the best location for a mechanical snack machine is the scrap heap.

That's because they don't make a good boat anchor. That is what the Sega combo is for.
