Bill validator needed or not?

I received a couple of counts from a relative. When he was showing me the accounts he would point out that the bill validator doesn't work but he would say the account doesn't do the money to require fixing it. I am more in the belief that if the bill validator works you would bring in more cash. Agree, Disagree?

Always have a working dba on a machine, not everybody carries change.

AZvendor can help you with a working dba.

He will replied to your question.

As a customer...I would have the vendor remove their machines if a feature...such as a validator was present and not working, especially if I had asked for it to be fixed.

And yes, I believe payment options increase sales.

And a final question...if the location does not warrant a validator, does it warrant a machine at all?

Exactly as Travis said, if the validator doesn't increase sales (which they always do and therefore should always be on a machine) then the location is not worth it.  I would also never put a machine out without a validator on it as they are an expected requirement and no machine can be considered to be run professionally without one.

Send me an email at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom and I can get a rebuilt unit to you.

I have a few accounts like that but I got the machines and the accounts for free. I actually gave one of those accounts to the customer because it wasn't worth even picking them up. If the volume is that low, consider cancelling it.

The ONLY exception is when it's tied to a larger account. Even then, it's worth getting fixed.

Having bill validators on outside machines in some areas will bring about more vandalism. They do increase sells a lot but sometimes in bad locations it minimizes vandalism. Outside locations should not have working lights either. Thieves are driving around looking for those lite up machines. In some instances even the sold out lights encourage vandalism. Having them tho is a plus.

they aren't terrible accounts. They are commercial accounts and the people who work there know they need Chang if they want to get something out of. They do $75/$100 every two weeks. Just not sure if the cost to replace it would be worth it. Haven't had any complaints from the companies.

You'll have much happier customers if they can use bills in the machines.  Send me an email and I'll get one to you.

Well I want argue the fact that those numbers are not good but that is another conversation.

No complaints does not always mean happy or satisfied with your service. However let me explain what can happen. Your competition knocks on your door of the account and exploits the fact that you don't have a working validator. If it an account worth anything I would immediately tell them our machines can take $1.00, $5.00 and $10.00 as well as golden dollars. Now their is a good chance you will loose the account. However, that is probably not a bad thing based on those numbers you say its doing but like I said that is another conversation.

If the account is not worth a validator then it's not worth fooling with.  Low volume accounts are notorious for costing more to keep up than they make.  Pull those machines and sell them if you can't find a better location !!!

I'd put validators on. You can always pull the validators off later if you need them. It's not like you really invest that much. Upgrading a control board is a whole different story though.

In Canada we have 1$ and 2$ coins, and anything doing over 50$ a week is worth a validator (don't forget, validator means less coins that need to be counted and rolled and hauled to the bank)
