vending0818
I have a national 159. I Want to couple a tray. Does anyone know how to do it. Thanks
lacanteen
Is that a GPL 159? If so, is the board attached on the swing out behind the selector panel or behind a cover behind the swing panel, but not attached to it. I don't know if the early red boards would couple but the later ones that were built on the 167 platform would.
vending0818
Hi Thanks for the reply. It's actually a glasco GS-1. It's about 20 years old. The board is behind the cover. Again I apprec your advice
AZVendor
That machine has no coupling capabilities. You have to get into the 157 series before you can do that in National machines.
AngryChris
That machine has no coupling capabilities. You have to get into the 157 series before you can do that in National machines. I did it in a national 471(?). That machine has a national 147/148 board in it and it has coupling options but they are very difficult to navigate. In fact, I had to pay to call national to guide me through it.
vending0818
I king of figured it couldn't be done. A friend had suggested that maybe it can be done using a dual motor. Don't really understand what it means.
AngryChris
Some machines use a "dual motor" which is a single motor that drives two spirals. Other machines couple two separate motors but the board has to be told to do so.
