Javaman
The display near the coin slot is not illuminating and I tried removing the cable on the small pc board behind the display and reinserting it but it did not light up. Everything else seems fine,,lights,,compressor butt the machine won't work. Do I need to replace the small pc board? Does anyone have a part number for this and a rough cost estimate? Where could I purchase it? Any help much appreciated. This is an older machine with the 10 selections on the right in vertical column.
cvending
Check the fuses on the control board. I believe the center one might be bad. Be sure to replace with the same size fuse. That should solve your problem
AZVendor
If the fuse isn't the problem then check the transformer input to the board (with the harness unplugged) to ensure that you're getting 24v into the board. If the power is correct and the fuse is good then you probably need a new board. You can email me if you need parts at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom. Javaman
Thanks.....where is the control board located? This would be the main pc board not the little board behind the display right? Sorry but new to vending and so a newbie! Am I looking for a normal fuse holder? The type that is spring loaded? Thanks.
AZVendor
It should be in the top of the door above the coin mech since your selection buttons are down the right side of your door. The transformer should be in the center top of the door but might also be in the bottom of the door or behind the center door stiffening panel. The display board is just a peripheral on the machine. You'll need to remove the metal cover of the logic board to check out the fuses (turn the machine off first). Pull the fuses one at a time so you don't mix them up and inspect them for burned filaments or use an ohm meter on them. If one is blown then it MUST be replaced with the exact same fuse.
