cosvending
I've got an mei 7512 that keeps giving me different "retry tubes.." messages. It will say "retry AB", then after opening and closing the coin cassette it will say "retry DE", and it will just keep changing messages. I assume it's not reading the tubes properly, but it seems to give messages for every tube at different times. Any ideas? AngryChris
I'm not sure about that model but you might need to reset the little arms. I think you press a yellow button twice. I'm not sure if that's how to do it or if it will fix your problem
AZVendor
It sounds like your coin mech has a payout module problem. Like Chris said you should remove the cassette and press the yellow button twice to force the mech to run each payout arm. If that doesn't correct the issue, and I don't think it will due to the obscure error you're getting, then you'll need to rebuild the coin mech. The "retry" errors are very rare and are indicative of a bad payout module. You can email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom for information on a rebuilt exchange unit. EdsVending
Always double click the yellow button when removing the cassette. You may have to reprogram the cassette.
SCOTT1963
I see this aometimes after a yellow button reset 9meaning that it actually reset the arms) and it's usually been the acoustic module MEI729174001P part number
