eaglesfan1203
I have 5k worth of machines that I'm selling. One of the established vendors in the area wants to buy them. Half down and the other half within 3 months. My question is what is the proper way to do this? Can I just draw up a contract myself or do I need it notarized? Tips? Thanks
AngryChris
A buyer/seller contract with dates, signatures should do, and you should get it notarized. Repossessing it probably isn't an option so don't put anything like that in there. If someone doesn't pay, go to small claims court.

Not sure where you are but here in AZ this would not go to small claims because it is greater then 2500

Walta
If he cannot come up with 5K that fact scares me. If there is a location involved he may be holding back until he sees if the sales are in line with the claimed revenue. Put it all in writing with model# and SN# Walt

allen watson
I bought a small route and found a contract on-line. I sat down with the seller and we hashed it out. Then I printed up a new one with our agreed upon changes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
