Need Suggestions

Hi,

We have just gotten a location that would like to provide K-cups to their employees and guests in addition to snacks and drinks.  They would like to supply a dark roast and breakfast blend.  They already have a Keurig machine.  Most employees bring their own, so it will be for those who forget or guests who come in for training sessions/special meetings.

Our vending machines have 10 coil spacers, so that is too tight for the K-cup.  The manufacturer only had 10, 14, and 7 coil spacers for our machines.

Any suggestions on how we can supply these and track payment?

Thanks in advance for the help.

What model of machine are you using and why not just sell them out of your machine?  You should make the profit for dealing with the K cups and tracking is not hard if you already track you products.  You will need to have a dual spiral selection to vend them so you might need to update or change out your machine.

We just bought brand new machines Seaga N2G4000 machines.    When we put the cups in the spirals on the third row they are too tight for for the cups.  Seaga only makes 14, 10, and 7 spacer coils for this machine.  They do make a Keurig entree unit, but this particular account doesn't need that because they already have a Keurig machine.  Most employees bring their own cups, so it will be for those who forget or guests who come in for training sessions/special meetings.

I hate to say it but your issue is that you bought substandard Seaga machines.  I know the deal is done and you have to make the best of it now.  You are stuck with what Seaga does for you, which is and will be very little.  Dual spirals is the only way to vend the K cups and you would have to put a different machine in to be able to properly vend them.  The only machine actually made to sell K cups is the Multi-Max which I think would be a waste of money in this case.

Vendors Exchange makes a spiral kit for Crane/National machines only. Interestingly, the dispenser kit for 5-hour energy is the same rig with a different decal. See if Seaga has a set up for 5-hour energy.
