WallyBoy
Had this start recently, the cooling unit is warm and I can't get the can doors to work(make another selection). Nothing on the keypad clears this. I can get the cooling system working just fine if I bypass the lower board but the doors still wont open to vend the pop. I haven't gone into supervisor mode yet as I don't have a code to get in(I think the default is 0000?). Need help on this one...thanks.
AZVendor
This sounds like your machine may have lost it's configuration setting. Press the CODE button first as you might need to be in the Supervisor mode for this setting. You should see the ENTER CODE message which gives you 6 seconds to enter the code of 0000. If the code is correct you will hear two beeps and the word UNLOCKED will appear. If that won't work then you have a mystery code stored and you might need to do a RAM CLEAR to reset the logic board. You can find the Ram Clear method in this list: http://dsvendinginc.com/pdf-manuals/RAMCLEAR.pdf After a Ram Clear you will need to reprogram everything in the machine. Once you're in the programming press PRODUCT CONFIG and you should see what the machine is configured for. If it's not CNF.2CAN then you need to press EDIT until this configuration code is shown. Afterward, press EXIT to save and exit the programming. Now see if the error code is gone, the cans vend and the module begins to cool.
WallyBoy
I'll do that next time I'm in at the location. I'll keep you posted on the outcome. Thanks!
WallyBoy
Thanks, it worked. another question-the Coinco bill validators I have are malfunctioning. They sound like the motor is trying to work and are making a clicking, ticking noise. Another vender said that there is plastic gears inside that have stripped and I have to get a update repair kit. Any ideas or info? I have one about 70% disassembled here now but I would like to know more before I dig into it further. W
AZVendor
Glad it's working now. Validators and coin mechs aren't DIY repairs. You are going to cause yourself more problems than you fix by trying to repair these yourself. There are repair depots for coin mechs and validator for a reason. If you want these repaired right the first time with no call backs then you can send them to me for repair. You can email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom.
