ghostridergt
Well everyone it looks like my patience is finally about to pay off! I found an older guy looking to get out of the business. He's selling some northwestern tripple heads for $75 a piece...ON LOCATION!!! He says they're doing about $25 per month which is fine for the time being. Im just thinking of how good the price is for just the machines and for them to be on location just sweetens the pot. Im going into this already knowing I might have to relocate a couple but still this is really exciting for me. I meet with the guy tomm. Wish me luck everyone. sterling
Sounds like a sweet deal. I just got a similiar one this weekend, but none on location. How many are you buying? How much product is in them? One thing that happened to me buying machines on route is that the commission due to each place wasn't exactly divulged. So the first collection I had store owners looking real mean at me wondering why I wasn't paying them.
ghostridergt
Im buying 12 machines in total. Thanks for pointing out the commission issue, I got so excited that I completely forgot about that.

Beer980
Sounds like you are in business then. What area of the metroplex are you in out there? I will be moving there so I don't want to compete if I don't have to.
ghostridergt
The 2 machines that are on location are in cedar hill. The rest will stay in Irving. The two in cedar hill will more than likely be given to my little cousin so she can start her own vending business to help put her through college. Im trying to keep my bulk operation in irving, when I go full line ill be willing to drive a lil more.

Beer980
Before you know it she will be expanding to Desoto. Well if you are in Irving then we should be ok because I am planing on either Keller/Saginaw/White Settlement area or maybe Arlington/Grand Prairie. ghostridergt
Due to the weather being the way it is out here for the last couple of days we've postponed our meeting but have had contact over the phone so i'm still hopeful. Thx for all of the well wishes everyone. Having so many like minded SUPPORTIVE people in one place is really awesome. I know it sounds corny but reading positive responses here online gets me more and more excited for whats to come in real life. Thx again everyone. guile
Please don't take this the wrong way but....don't you think you should have done a little more research before considering this purchase? You completely forgot to ask about commission? This is a business, first and formost. It seems people find this forum and start "jumpin in" making purchases and have no idea what the hell they are buying (and/or getting themselves into). This is a GREAT forum and people should utilize it BEFORE THEY CONSIDER BUYING MACHINES! I do wish you good luck and hope this is everything (and more) then you want it to be. g
ghostridergt
Thx for the blunt advice guile. You're right I should've asked more questions from jump street with this one. We talked about commission when I called the guy yesterday evening and it is like you guys said, the commission is a little more than i'm honestly willing to let go of. Apparently the commission he pays them is set in stone so thankfully for me the weather has been crappy or i would be kicking myself right now had I just jumped in, and not had time to read these replies. Plus someone else made him an offer and he wants $250 for both now. As for the other machines Im still going to try and pick some up. I know I need to take a few quarters with me and run a couple through when looking at the machines to make sure the mechs work. All in all it looks like i've still got a LOT more to learn. Thx again g, ur advice wasnt taken the wrong way, sometimes I need a little realism to balance things out to keep me out of trouble.

This website is a VALUABLE resource. You can save a LOT of money by investing a little time. I know it's exciting when you think about getting into something new, but you have to treat it like a biz (because it is). Good luck to you! g
