maestro489
I have an account at a mulch company and the Bill validators are constantly needing repair/cleaning due to all of the dust. Has anyone come up with a solution besides constantly cleaning them? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
AZVendor
No, all you can do to keep them running is to blow dirt and dust out of them each time you service them. Pull the bases out and use a soft cloth to wipe any dust off the sensors as well. Dirty locations bring more maintenance; that's just the way it is when you want to make money. maestro489
I just found these outdoor weather covers. Anybody ever try these? If they can keep the rain out I'm thinking they would do a pretty good job keeping the dust out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
AZVendor
There are some aftermarket covers that will bolt onto the front of the bezel. They will work a bit to keep them cleaner.
ANDERSONVENDING
Capital vending sells the outdoor covers, not sure anything will help there. I have a concrete plaant that is the same way, the workers have the dust on them so the break room is always dusty. http://www.capitalvending.com/cart.php?target=category&category_id=459 John
CajunCandy
Wow! That's a lot of money for some plastic that is very easy to be broken off. I'm pretty sure there is a cheaper solution for a cover. But that my that is my opinion. cajun
lacanteen
This rechargeable blower works well. Easy enough to carry in a pocket (cargo pants), and strong enough to blow out a refrigeration unit. https://na.suzohapp.com/products/cleaning_maintenance/92-2427-
KychrisKy
I just put a piece of small duct tape over mine and snd fold it back under itself were its not sticky over the dollar opening, they can raise it up when they put money in, it may look tacky but usually at these locations they don't give a rip any way
