dougncin
Couple Questions I have an Dixie Narco 601E with a SIID control panel and eprom 381.41. Is there a higher version? Can eprom just be switched out? Are there any benefits to changing to a newer version? Doug
AZVendor
I believe that 381.41 is the latest eprom version. I think this one is required for card readers to work properly with the DEX reporting in the machine. Is there a reason you are needing a higher version? dougncin
I just like to keep my stuff up to date and figured there might have been an update by now.. I have a Coinco BA30B like to update to use new 5 dollar bills. is it cheaper just to buy another one already updated or get one updated? AZVendor
I can exchange yours for a rebuilt unit that takes $5s if you'd like. Email me at rbepic4gatgmaidotcom.
lacanteen
There is one version 1 step above 381.41, but no benefit to doing so, especially if you are not running card readers. If you do change it, 99% of the time it's plug and play with no program changes.
rmorris1953
The S-11 D boards have been out for many years now 15+ years. When buying used boards look at the mode switch. The first ones had either a white or Red switch. The latest ones have a small blue button. You want the small blue button.
