Problem getting parts from AZ Vendor

I've been waiting for AZ Vendor to send me parts for 2 months now.  I also sent him 6 changers/validators to be rebuilt and have not heard from him and my emails go unanswered.  No wonder he doesn't give out his phone number.  When I first sent him the validators and changers he said it would take 3 days per piece of equipment so I was expecting them within 20 days.  It is now going on over 2 months and still no word from him or response to my email.

AZ has always provided timely service, kept me in the loop when things didnt go as promised, and given me his cell number and I am just a small time vendor.  I have been pleased with the results and will use him next time I have a problem.  Just my experience - your results may vary......

Sorry your experience has been soured.  Given his stature on the forums here I'd be surprised he'd willfully jeopardize his reputation.  I'm guessing communications breakdown, another side to the story, or a combination of the two.

AngryChris.....doubtful because we emailed back and forth at least 10 times.  The emails that went unanswered were the ones when I was asking about the status of my equipment plus its been over 2 months and he hasn't emailed or called me.  He does have my cell number.

Donkata.....another side to the story?  Perhaps, lets see if he responds and what he says.

Az is an outstanding guy. Hes been one of the most valueble assets to my start up. And i owe him a ton of cash lol. Yes sometimes he sends u the wrong parts or someone elses parts but eventually u get the right parts like 90% of the time. And customer service is worth it in gold man he can tell u the problem to almost any machine.

The truth is no body can stock every part for every machine ever sold ever.

To make matters worse some of the manufactures have done a very poor job merging the parts departments of the companies they bought out.  It seems a lot of parts a listed as available with none in stock and undetermined production dates.

Personal I try to support my local suppliers. If I can keep them in business they will have most of the stuff I want in stock and available for same day pickup.

My local supplier does instant exchange for all the common coin mech and valuators for no additional charge. I am sure they would ship if you want to give them a try send me a PM and send you the contact info.

Walta.....yes I understand that but at least keep me in the loop.  I sent 3 emails and got no response.  Supposedly he gives out his cell number yet I have mentioned here twice for his number and haven't gotten it.  I'm starting to think the 2 people on here that are "praising him" are his friends.  I've also received emails from other members that have had the same experience but they wont post on here.  I guess if my equipment gets shipped out tomorrow as promised, since he boxed them up over the weekend, I will give him praise.

I will praise AZ Vendor up and down and all around. This gentleman has done more for this site without regard for being compensated. I have ordered parts from him in the past and will do so in the future. I have had many conversations on the phone with him and he is happy to share his bountiful experience with me. I'm sorry you've had not such a great experience this time around, but give the guy a break. I personally wish this thread would just go away.

Golfdogs.....so whats his phone number or will you not give it out either?  This thread will go away when my validators/changers have been mailed and have arrived.  Supposedly they will be mailed tomorrow and hopefully I will get a tracking number at which point I will post that on here.

Mine is a slightly different take on this. He did some work for me and sent some parts that I needed and I can't get him to send an invoice or tell me how much I owe him. I suspect there's something else going on if he is not responding to me asking for a bill.

That exact thing is happening with him and I right now.

He seems like a really nice guy, my take is he is so nice and so knowledgeable that he gets buried in requests.

I personally get in situations like this because I truly do want to please everyone to the highest extent as it seems Randy does.

He is "the gift horse" of this forum, please don't look him in the mouth. I wish I lived closer I would offer to help him in some way stretching myself thinner than I already am and getting farther behind on things I have promised :)

I had moved on since he responded in the post and said they would be mailed today or tomorrow but people kept posting so I am going to comment on there post.  Thank you to everyone that has responded, mostly defending him, because this thread is now a "hot topic".  I guess we will see if he is a man of his word and mails them tomorrow.

Jamman.....I agree with you 100% and I understand people get behind, have to order parts to complete my rebuilds etc.  All I was asking is he should have responded to my emails and kept me in the loop, I would have understood.  These validators/changers were going in snack machines that I already had locations for and a few machines I had sold.  I was originally told 3 days per so that would have been 18 days so I didn't want to cut it close so I figured 5 weeks, its going on 9 weeks now.  I had to buy new validators/changers to fulfill my agreement with locations and customers to keep my good reputation.
