dougncin
I am thinking of getting in the snack side off the business and there are 2 Rowe 5900s for 750 for pair. 1 is supposed to be in perfect shape and the second suppose to have a change dispenser problem. Is it a deal worth getting? I have about 1200 to spend on a machine. Doug
Sparta_Automation
Although they are older machines....they are still pretty solid. For basically $375 per machine, you can't really go wrong as long as everything works. The change dispenser issue is probably the coin acceptor, relatively cheap and easy to fix. Now the question, do you have locations for both machines? If not....and if you have no prospects, then you may consider a newer machine with updated electronics. AZVendor
The 5900s are good machines though no sheet metal parts are available for them. They are easy to upgrade if still using a metal CBA validator and you can exchange the bad coin mech. You can email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom if you need parts for them. dougncin
I haven't gone and looked at them yet but do they use standard coin mechs and dollar acceptors? He said there was a Coinco coin mech in 1 and Mars in the other. He did state which one had issues
AZVendor
Yes, standard coin mechs unless someone converted them to MDB logic boards.
