Mosercl
Hey guys, I have a royal vendors machine, model # RVCC 444-9, does anyone know what bill acceptor I could put in it, the old one (i am assuming the original) is not working very well at all! AZVendor
I can send you a replacement for your bad unit but I would need to know the model of validator you have and also the model of coin mech to determine what interface cable will be needed. You can email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom for information.

AZVendor
I also need to know the model of coin mech as well.
Mosercl
Here is the coin mech, which is due to be replaced (or upgraded) as well
AZVendor
That is an MDB coin mech so there's no way it works in the same machine as that old Maka. Email me for replacements.
Mosercl
It is a coinco 9300 series, they have been working in the same machine for at least as long as I've owned it (over a year),
AZVendor
Yes, it's a 9302GX which is an MDB mech. Let me know if you need an exchange unit sent.
Mosercl
My bigger concern at the moment is getting a new bill validater, do you have any recommendations?
AZVendor
I can send you one but I still need to know what coin mech is in the machine that the Maka came out of so that I know what harness to also send you.
moondog
My bigger concern at the moment is getting a new bill validater, do you have any recommendations? An Mei 2512 is probably what you'll need plus the standard harness. It's amazing that Maka made it this far as it's a true dinosauer. The downside is that nobody will take it in as a core exchange so you're starting from scratch cost wise.

Stick with the 9302-GX if you're swapping out mechs, it's a great coin mech.
Mosercl
I can send you one but I still need to know what coin mech is in the machine that the Maka came out of so that I know what harness to also send you. The two photos I attached are of the validator and coin mech that are currently in my machine, they have both been working until the last couple weeks when the validator quit accepting bills
AZVendor
Email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom so I can get them to you. What I don't understand is why there is a photo of a Maka validator that is not MDB capable and of a 9302GX that is only MDB capable. Those two items can't be used in the same machine. What I don't understand is why there is a photo of a Maka validator that is not MDB capable and of a 9302GX that is only MDB capable. Those two items can't be used in the same machine. I have been wondering that myself. My best guess is that the changer case is from a 9302GX but the mech itself is probably a 9300L or 9302LF. Can we get a picture of the changer harness end? Or at least a description: 6 pin, 12 pin, or 15 pin.

lacanteen
Never seen anything like this combination. MDB "rules" say it can't have worked. But, if you keep it MDB (and you should), use MEI VN2512U3M bill acceptor and plug your changer into the female of the bill acceptor and the male plug from the bill acceptor will connect to the female in your picture. Everything that had anything to do with that Maka should go into the swamp.
