wegroup
This machine is equipped with a Coinco 9302-gx coin mech, and a Coinco Mag50 dbv. The machine is set to accept 5's and 1's, however the machine is not accepting 5's. The coin mech has about $35, but only shows $2.90. So I emptied the coin mech and then refilled using the fill tube function. The display reflects the $35 fill. After exiting the fill function, the machine accepts 5's. The problem is when I shut the door, the machine does not take 5's again. Checking the coin mech amount shows $2.90 again. So I'm thinking that the coin mech is communicating to the dbv that the machine doesn't have enough change for the $5. What do you think, coin mech? Happy Thanksgiving to all. AngryChris
Sounds like a board issue. Do the prices stay the same?
AZVendor
It sounds like your coin mech tube sensors aren't registering anything other than the nickle tube. The logic board is seeing the coins counted into inventory as evidenced during that function but the value of those coins when not in the tube fill mode is simply what the coin mech reports. lacanteen
Sometimes you have to make a vend or 2 with quarters for $5s to kick in
