mattdt
I recently came upon a refurbished DN 600E to put at our business. It came setup with 4 narrow slots for cans and the rest for 20oz bottles. I have looked everywhere within a reasonable distance and no one has 20 oz soda for sale. What do I need to run 16.9 oz bottles? Also, a minor detail, but I am not getting a point of sale message on the display. I have tried both settings to enable or disable in setup and still just get 2 decimal points. Thanks for help!
AZVendor
Welcome to the forum. There will be no message on the display unless you have just a single price on all selections. Since you have cans and bottles set at different prices you will only see the decimal point or perhaps just zeros. You can set the machine up with 16.9 oz bottles using the same 20 oz bottle shims but you'll need spacer rods in each column for the smaller bottles. If you want to also convert the can columns to run bottles you will need to put bottle shims in those columns and keep the spacer rods that are there now. If you'll email me I can send you the parts needed to make this all 16.9 oz bottles including the flavor strips. My email is rbepic4gatgmaildotcom. rmorris1953
16.9 bottles can be vended with either the can shim or the bottle shim on the E Models narrow columns. You just need the rods in the cup/cradle. On the double columns you will need 4 waffle thin can shims on each side
