cvending
Today I am having a problem with a National 675 FD coffee. The machine display was not on when my driver got to account. He unplugged power and plugged it back in but no difference. When I get to machine I find the low power circuit breaker is tripped. I reset it but I t trips again in about 3 seconds. I am not sure what is on the low power circuit. I unplugged the mech & validator, vend sensors and Cabinet fan. It still trips breaker in about the same length of time. I tried calling National Vendord, D & S Vending, and Vendors Exchange but they are all closed today. Does anyone know what would be on the 4AMP circuit? Account is a correctional center open 34/7 and I would like to get it operating ASAP. Thanks in advance. Steve
AZVendor
That breaker goes to the 24v side of the machine. Since you have unplugged the mech and validator they aren't the cause. This could be a bad power transformer, bad logic board, bad display board etc. Try unplugging the display first since you know that isn't on and could be bad, then power to the driver board, then logic board and if one of those solves it you know which it was. Unplugging all of those will still leave the transformer powered up so if the breaker still trips then that is probably where the problem is. Don't forget that the driver board runs all the motors, valves and whippers so if the breaker doesn't trip when it's unplugged you might still need to start unplugging valves and whippers to further pin point the problem. All of the other motors are 110v but they still run off the driver board.
