BaneTrain
Could someone enlighten me on why this machine is setup this way? What does it add. I have never seen a super 60 like this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/262157205276?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
musser
That is a pretty old machine, the flat coin mech gives it away. This might be a wrapped gum machine ( bubble gum) I know they were made but I don't think they were ever successful.
BaneTrain
Is it worth picking up? Is that one piece coming from the hopper attached to the globe?
musser
It has value as a collector item. Its petty old with a first generation coin mech ( 1960's) New parts will fit ( the beauty of a Northwestern) but I think it would be foolish to destroy a collectable machine. BaneTrain
Ahh I gotcha, thanks Musser. I'm just trying to find some deals on a few Super 60's since I'm out of machines right now.

BaneTrain
Pick it up, only one bid on it so far!
PerformaVending
WOAH! That's a relic! I've seen the Oak version of this, but never the NW one. Yeah, this is a machine designed to vend wrapped candies like Dubble Bubble- I've heard of this in NW, but I've never seen a good picture of one. Definitely a collectors item- the guy selling it probably doesn't even know what he's got. For posterity, here's the pictures: Take a look at that central agitator- what a crazy design! BaneTrain
Well I'm glad I know more about this. I was going to bid on it and make it fit my needs lol. Someone on here should buy it and appreciate it if it's that rare.
