allprovending
My machine says "out of service" on the display reader. What should I look for to pin point the problem? I don't have any food in the vendor so are there sensors that detect that and that is why its reading out of service?
AZVendor
Check that your door switches are all working properly. There is one next to the coin mech that shows the machine that the main door is closed and then there is one at the top of the coin mech compartment that puts you into the vend mode when that door is closed. It also puts you into the service mode when you then open the coin mech door. You should read your error codes to see if the machine tells you what the issue is. It could be temperature related since you have had temp issues. If your machine goes below 40 deg for too long it will trip the health control which shuts the lights off and inhibits vending. allprovending
When the door is open it does say error....how do I read those?
AZVendor
Have you bothered to read the manual yet? All of this is in there. I'm only asking because I don't have enough time to type that out for you right now.
allprovending
Ok I figured it out......it says 2 errors. The first it says, "coin mech no reply" and the second error says, "lock bar switch error". I have a refurbished coin mech in the machine now so what else could it be? I just placed the coin mech in though. Should the error message go away or do I need to clear the error messages out? I started printing the manual today but I ran out of ink. AZVendor
The coin mech should fix itself. The lockbar error could be a bad micro switch on the lockbar or a sticking lockbar. You could also have the light cover on incorrectly which can screw up the lockbar and the individual doors when locking.
