BlindVending
As title states just wondering if people still use payrange and if so how are the results
AZVendor
I have not heard anyone yet state that Payrange is benefitting them very much as the only results I've heard are of single digit weekly sales with them. While they are inexpensive to use they don't come close to the results that you get with card readers. The problems with Payrange are that it's invisible to the customer and requires them to download an app to their cell phone and then link the app to a bank account. While people are quite used to putting apps on their phones, this one is by no means "viral" so there's bound to be resistance to using it due to unfamiliarity. There may still be firmware issues as well causing conflicts with some logic boards which can cause issues with card readers that might also be on the machines. This may have been corrected but the visible and lit up card reader is going to always attract more usage as the customer can see the device and then they are much more comfortable swiping a card. ANDERSONVENDING
I use payrange and have 4 in use. I don't have card readers but I can't complain about them. I have customers tell me they don't carry cash and this works great for them. with 4 in use my sales deposits are over 200 weekly. John
Conallvending
The only thin keeping me from trying is the 12 minimum purchase.

Randy 805
I don't have any installed on any of my machines, however at my night job the vending machines have them installed and I find it very usefull, I'm kind of a tech junky myself and I like the forward thinking and versatility of the app, I usually leave my wallet in my car in the parking structure which is quite a walk, so it works well for me. lacanteen
All of my card readers are NFC enabled which allows me to take whatever app is in your phone already (Apple or 'Droid), but also anything in your wallet including campus cards. We are in the process of putting together a rewards program to discount sales if your use a card during off peak times. Essentially, a custom made "happy hour" for specific machines. BlindVending
3 weeks in sales have been less than stellar with payrange. Not sure if it's a matter of them not understanding how to use it or not. I go out of my way to let everyone in lunch rooms know how to use it, give them a free vend so they have the app and demo it. Hoping it picks up a bit as almost everyone I see is playing on their phones
