Candyguy
Hi guys I've recently placed a couple of oak vistas that are near entrances that get direct sunlight. One of the side panels will see a constant sunlight everyday. Should I just try to buy some tint put on the panel to protect the gumballs from turning white over time or cracking? What's your advice? There is no option to move these.
gumball guy
I use the "Dubble Bubble" placards that come in the boxes and it works well. May not be the most aesthetically pleasing but I have never had anyone complain.
PerformaVending
The Dubble Bubble cards are white on the back, so I just turn them around that way. As gumball guy said, it's not an "elegant" solution, but it is inexpensive and easy, and won't require any real work on the machine on location. If you do need a more "formal" solution, you can get solid colored plexiglass from some bigger hardware stores- the one here in town has white and blue, though your options may vary. Pretty easy to get some vista panels cut. Otherwise, I'm sure Oak or A&A have solid panels available for sale for those sort of machines.
sweetstop
ive also used white foam poster board its about 1/8" thick rigid so you can cut to fit. its bright white but you can also get it in colors. its a little thicker so it offers a little insulating value. like this, i think $ stores have it also http://images.michaels.com/cms/michaelssa/www/Sites-MichaelsUS-Site/large/Node:IOGLO000030000900001000040000H0001M0001L0000E000020000J0001Y0000200J5L.ViewAsset
