Candyguy
Hi guys With commission vending, what do you feel is a fair percentage to offer the owner? I've always done charity, but may start to get into commission because it seems to get the high volume locations, this is usually what u have to do. rodney69
If it's toys, start at 20%. Usually though, if your under25you take a chance of losing it to someone. If it's candy, I wouldn't unless it's all .50 or along with toys and either skittles or pressed candy.

PerformaVending
Depends on if it's gross or net, but that's a whole nuther' can of worms. I start mine at 30% gross these days and work up from there. Some locs need/are worth more, others not so much. I don't see commission percentage as a "one size fits all" sort of thing. shanipaqman
I agree with performa, the high volume location you really want to get into is worth paying for, others don't often require more unless you offer it. I would start as low as they are comfortable with, doesn't hurt. Yes, someone may come along later and try to offer more, but if you have a good working relationship, then you can work it out hopefully before they bring someone else in. Most of the time, the owners aren't around in my experience and once you are in and doing a good job, you typically keep the location.
