tbonecb
Hello all. I recently bought a 522mc and a couple of other machines. But the 522 seems to be set up for bottles. I want to make a couple of slots for cans but im a vending newbie for the most part. From what i have seen im guessing I need some shims but im unsure which ones and also I have no idea what the cam settings should be. And is there anything else I need to do or know? Thanks all
rmorris1953
Are you sure of the Model Number? 522 MC is a magnum curve. Are you vending 16.9 bottles or 20 oz? Picture of vendor would help a lot. On a 522 MC with 16.9 bottles you would only need to change back spacer and cam setting.
AZVendor
There are no shims for the Royal 552s any longer. You must set the rear spacer to fit your cans and then set the depth in the programming to 3. If you're missing any of the metal shims (one per side) that have the anti-theft springs on them then I may still have some from a machine I parted out. tbonecb
The model number on the plate says dncb 522mc/300-6. I dont have any pictures right now I will try to get some before i go to work today. I havent vended anything out of it but judging from the price and selection on the front it looks like 20 oz bottles. I am new to all of this so I could very well be wrong. AZVendor
I missed the 522mc and thought it was a RV552. The 522 has 6 wide columns that will do 12 oz cans three deep. You need two can shims on each side of each column and green and gold motor timing cams. The adjustable gold cam must be in hole 2 and the rear spacer must be moved to holes 22 from the front, top and bottom, right and left. You can email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom if you need any parts for it.

AZVendor
Email me if you want me to send you some more of the shims. You'll need 4 of those in each column, two right and two left. You also need a price label on the coin casting if it's a single price machine or an instruction label if it's a multiprice machine.
