nrod7
After installing the bill validator the the Diagnostic light stayed on. I attempted to insert a dollar bill, the validator would only accept about a 1/4 of the bill before it would reject the bill and spit it out. I attempted several times with different bills, with no success. What would this type of malfunction indicate? I was thinking that it might be a belt problem. nrod7
MidStateVending
Could be a bad belt, but more likely a weakening motor. In the South Eastern US, a CoinCo rep travels through several states once per month. Very good prices, and they will exchange your bad bill validator for a refurbished one... plus a low fee. I just call him before he comes out. They also have diagnostic equipment to test the validator or coin mech. I use them all of the time.
AZVendor
You'll need to replace that validator with a rebuilt unit. Email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom if you need one.
