smartvendnw
I have a pretty large network of friends. I was thinking about offering a locating fee to anyone who refers me and finds a qualified spot. Any suggestions? Good or bad idea? Is there an industry standard amount? Thinking $50. Make it worth their while and maybe top of mind as they're out and about. Thanks! Could it work? Maybe, but dont think I would rely to much on it success.
smartvendnw
Got cha. Yea would treat it as a complete bonus. I have a good friend who manages a crew of 45 guys, and works out of a warehouse that runs about 200 guys thru it daily, with an office staff of 20. He thought vending machines would kill it there. I said shoot you get me an appt and it closes I'll give ya $50. He's like cool. So scenarios like that is what I'm thinking. I have friends in quite a few different businesses from owning to mgmt so just trying to find any angle I can to make an impact. Chkoolaid1
I've never done a locating fee. I've taken someone out to dinner, another out to the range. Even in those situations they just made the introduction, I still had to do the selling. I like it more than money because it builds the relationship and they generally appreciate it more. I don't think I'd do it if they're benefiting from the machines being attheir work place. At that point you're just scratching each other's back.
