Vending Route For Sale Near Me........

The guy has 54 Vendstars on location. He says it makes $1500.00 per month. He wants $8000 for everything. This also includes a combo snack/soda machine on location ( which I really do not want ) I am going to call him and see what the deal is with him and this route. I love it when sellers try to talk up the fact that the Vendstars cost so much money and they are selling them at a very deep discount.

I talked to a guy yesterday trying to sell his Vendstar route. He told me that the Vendstar elite was so nice since it dispenses wrapped candy for .25 and you can get it for .03 He claimed all his machines did a net of $40/month. He wanted $40*12*2= $960 per machine located.

Needless to say I don't think I will go for it.

I talked with this guy today about his route. Unbelievable how some of these folks try and sell their routes either for outrageous prices or with absolutely no paperwork. This guy does not have a sheet of paperwork. He says I can only see a few locations because its too time consuming and besides he is treating a perspective buyer the same way he was treated when he bought the route 2 months ago. That prompted me to ask if he was royally ripped off when hew bought it now that he has serviced the route? He sounded like he was not thrilled with what he has but is not budgeting from 8k for the whole thing. With Vendstars no less. I gotta be patient. Sooner or later a route will become available for me at a decent deal.

Reading through article my vending uncle ... posted on this site in December. Opened my eyes to a couple things in vending one of which I am going to try on the bulk side. I could have pulled it off with my buddy that I did buy some of his machines, but he sold out 2 weeks before I read the article. Here's the skinny. Find someone who wants out. Post on craigs list, call from machines on sites, start posting 6-12 months after a biz op show comes through town. "In the bulk vending business and want out, I want in" There will be people wanting out! FINANCE THE ROUTE!Tell them you are not interested in buying machines, but income (maybe you don't acutally tell them this, but this is what we want to do). What the guy suggested is if you are patient and know what you can get a placed machine for and should pay for it you can get a financed route. Lets say $75-$125/machine. You and I both know documentation and proof of numbers is realllly difficult. Propose the price lets use $100 for simplicity. 50 machines with candy on route $5000. Lets also assume $10/month average 1/2 the national average, no matter what the guy tells you they are making (he is probably hyping it, telling you his best locations one month gross). So you should expect to gross $500/month minimally from this potential route. Offer the guy $500/month for 10 months. It gives you the time to see what his numbers really are, move the low ones and NOT USE YOUR CASH TO EXPAND, gets him out of his "problem". Not really a risk for him since if his route is good and does much better than that he knows you can pay him, and if you don't he has a key and knows where the machines are. If he does go back and pulls from machines or whatever he doesn't have your money, only his you collected and gave back to him. People who absolutely won't do this have great routes and will take the time to show you every pull so you feel better about paying a premium. This example the guy may have been in for many many years and is just retiring. More likely, however it is a biz op guy that got in way too deep and is eighter trying to actually find someone who is eager and willing to jump in and make them a profit or just break even. This person given enough time will be willing to finance you once they realize they can't sell a used car for a new car price and get realistic with their selling price expectation. A person that is moving desperate for cash, or just wants to get out and make something back will probably finance you. Good luck on scoring a nice route.
