Buchananvending Posted May 4, 2016 Share Posted May 4, 2016 Hey guys I have a Gaines combo machine the fridge part of the machine is not cold and there is a pan in the bottom of the machine that is full of water. Is there anything I can do to fix it or should look for. Also when I try to vend D4 err2 pips up and spits out the money any clue what error 2 is thanks. rmorris1953 Posted May 4, 2016 Share Posted May 4, 2016 Not to dimish the value but parts are practically obsolete. Check wiring on the motor to make sure wire hasn't come off. Check wiring harness for any breaks. After you have verified all connections are good, go into the service mode and do a test vend. You must do a test vend so the board will know the motor now is present. As far as cooling. It sounds to me the evaporator is or was froze up. If the compartment is cool. Possibly the evaporator is frozen up. Check to see if it is. If it is hot make sure temp control is working by turning it off/on and listen for the compressor to run. If you can hear the compressor start up and can hear the fan run with no clicking then you are most likely low on refrigerant. Check condenser by feeling it. It should be warm to the touch. If it is extremely hot (can't hold hand on it) the fan motor is bad or condenser is dirty. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
