Chkoolaid1
I found this snackshop 4000 on Craigslist for 250, he had it on for 450 for a while and just lowered the price. Looks like it needs a good cleaning. He says everything works he just bought it a while back and never used it. Anyone have an opinion on these? For 250 am I missing something? Walta
This machine is not a AP 4000 Nac 145? Do you have a home for it? If you need to take CC or 5s you will need an about $600-900 in upgrades. Walta
Walta
Fewer and fewer locations will accept a 25 year old brown machines that will not take 5 dollar bills. Please note almost all the parts are no longer available from the manufacture for this model. Walta
Chkoolaid1
Great information, thank you! He has the manual for it: Maybe the guy he bought it from gave him the wrong manual? I have a warehouse location that I just put a newly refurbished AP in, I was thinking of switching it out for this and putting the remodeled one in a nicer location. The warehouse machines doesn't have CC's and in the 18 months I've had the spot I've only pulled 2, 5's from the pop machine. For a 25 year old machine think it has any life left in it? lacanteen
I get $60 per ton for Snackshop 4000s and Snacktron 145s. As the others said, parts scarce for the 145 and they are hard to make look nice. The 6 tray 4000s can't vend LSS bags successfully.
Bvending
Im with walta, the picture is National 145. I sold 2 on Thurs.. One with no mech or val for 100. One location ready painted black for 375. They aren't worth fixing anymore in my opinion so we are getting rid of them as they break down
Southeast Treats
Yea, they are old but OK while still working. I put a tuffronts kit on one a couple years ago and it looks pretty good.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I got rid of my last National 145 years ago. That machine was a pain in the butt - never could get the coin return to line up right. Let him keep it and look for a nice cheap AP7600 if you have a need for something as old as dirt.
AngryChris
That is definitely a National 145 "snacktron" and not a snackshop 4000 (aka AP 4000) They are real work horses but look ugly. I wouldn't buy more except for dirty locations.
