maestro489
I have several coin mechs that are not refilling themselves. So I get there and in some cases all the nickels are out or all the dimes. I've been told there is a sensor that tells the mech when to refill and when to kick it to the coin box that has gone bad. Can this be easily replaced? Walta
Test the coin mech by 1 Empty the cash box 2 Buy sum product using nickel and dimes. If the coin tubes are less than full and the coins go to the cash box the coin mech needs repair. In my opinion DIY coin mech repair is not economical. In that my local shop charges so little and does good fast work. I think you will get a better return on your time if spend it getting a new location rather than figuring out how to repair a coin mech. AZVendor
It could be nickel tube sensors, an acceptor gate problem or coin mech logic board issues that cause this. Email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom if you need any replacements.
Southeast Treats
Presuming that the coins the changer needs are in the coin box... you are not just having more sales requiring change than people using change...
