Remote control lock problem

Recommended Posts

I bought a drink machine with an automatic lock. The guy I bought it from warned me not to close the door because he did not have the remote control to open it.

Well.... I closed the door while the machine was plugged in and the stupid lock automatically twisted shut. Now I have no way to open it.

Is there a way to break into the machine at this point? The good news is that I can see part of the lock because there is a hole where the bill validator should be.

Before you put any more money into the machines you need to understand there is about a 95% chance that you are in possession of stolen property.

If you did not pay close to market price for the machine, that would be another clue that they may be stolen.

If the serial numbers have been removed, that would be another clue that they may be stolen.

Only the Pepsi bought machines with the Triteq locks and I do not think they are selling them off at this point.

Triteq makes a battery pack that plugs in to a port that should be on the machine but I think they are pricey and it may not work. Love the concept of the triteq, do not like the delivery. They can be a serious pain. There is no other way to get in without damage to the machine. What model is it?

Walta is right in that the possibility that it belongs to Pepsi are high, especially since the guy didn't have a key fob for it.

Email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom and I'll help you get it open.  Give me the model of the machine and I can get parts to you to replace the Triteq.

I got 2 machines in the deal (not pepsi or coke). One had a fob... but you have to point it in just the right place to get it to open. Im going to trash them ASAP... These locks are evil.

Replace the battery in the fob it is a common battery found at most outlets Show a picture of machine and then we can tell you where to aim it.
