blbarchik
I have no manual or schematic for the machine. I know it was working before I removed the old coin unit. With no wires attached to the coin unit the chicken unit doesn't rotate. If I only hook up two wires then it will not rotate, but as soon as I hook up the third it will rotate and spit out eggs constantly. I'm wondering if the voltage going to the new magnetic coin switch is too high and more than it can handle?
Walta
Hook up the wires the original switch. When you wave it working, make a note of what color wire is connected to the COM, NO and NC terminals. Then measure the voltage from Com to NO and post the reading. Walta
blbarchik
The chicken unit's power is too great for the magnet switch you recommended. It fried the switch, so the switch was always registering closed, that is why the chicken was giving out free eggs constantly. I had to install the old switch and modified bracket. I will post a few pictures.
