QuikVend
I have a FSI 3141 snack machine on location. Serviced it yesterday and was told B6 and C6 weren't working. As soon I opened it up, I ran a motor test and they both vended just fine. So I fill and collect and decide to try to put money in and test again. Neither worked, said to try another selection. Decided to test all motors and found out all selections ending in 6 were not working. So B6,C6,D6 and E6 were the ones not working. Any ideas or suggestions? cvending
Sounds like it might be the keypad. When you press button 6 does it display properly? How did you test the motors, by selecting each one through the keypad?
QuikVend
When I put a dollar in and press any one of those selections, it takes a second then the message try another selection pops up. When I check to see how many motors, it only says 41, not 45. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk Also, I used the motor test function to check them out. cvending
It sounds like you have a wiring issue. In the main harness that runs from control board to the shelves, check that there is not a broken wire. The number 6 wire is common to all shelves so my guess is to figure out which wire that is. Also, try to disconnect and reconnect your harness a few times to help clean the connection. It may just be a back connection issue. Good luck

moondog
Ok. I'll be stopping by there later today. Thanks. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk My money is on a bad key pad which will probably run you about $60. These aren't too hard to change but the key is to run a strip of blue painters tape across all the selection buttons before you pull the membrane out otherwise you could end up with them all over the room. AZVendor
If you're sure no 6 selections work then pull the keypad connection apart first and put it together a couple of times. If that doesn't fix it then get a wiring diagram and find the 6 wire. Ohm it out to the top shelf as that's the first shelf it goes to. If the wire ohms out fine then ohm it out to the next shelves as well to rule that wire out. If it's good all the way to the last shelf then your keypad is bad. Email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom if you need a keypad.
