I have cleaned validator and bill storage are and have used air to blow any dust out. still showing error is there something else I am missing? this is the second validator in 4 months that I have had this issue is there a simple fix or just buy a new one?

Thanks for any help

First thing you need to do is to make absolutely certain that you got all of the debris out of there.  I'm not sure if you know how to completely open a validator up or not.  To open a coinco BA32SA, you need to take the bill box off first, then press the bottom tab on the very bottom (it's square and you should feel it move when you press it like a button) until you can pull the bottom unit out completely.  Once you've removed the bottom piece, you can make sure to get any pieces of dollars out of there.  Make sure nothing else is stuck where the bottom piece meets the upper piece of the validator.  To reassemble, you just push it in until it clicks/locks and put the bill box back on.  Make sure that the plastic piece with the spring on the back lines up properly in the guide of the bill box.  If that plastic piece (the part that pushes against the dollars to keep them straight) isn't inside the bill box (in other words, it's crooked and it's rubbing against the rest of the validator where the dollars get pulled in) then your validator won't work properly.

If you have done all of this and you keep getting 7 flashes (or pretty much anything over 6 flashes) then you need to have it rebuilt or replace it.  Depending on what kind of machine it is, there are many ways to upgrade the machine with a newer bill acceptor.  Having a BA32SA tells us nothing except what kind of validator you have in the machine.  It could be a snack machine, soda machine, MDB, non-MDB, etc...  That validator can be put into a variety of machines.

What kind of a machine is it?  If you have the model number, provide that and we can help you.  If it were me, I would throw the BA32SA away and upgrade the machine to a mars VN 2512 with a snack bezel if it's a 24 volt snack machine or MDB machine.  You would have all of your bases covered as long as you got the right harness.  MAG32SA's are good too and direct replacement for the BA32SA but I am biased toward MEI/Mars.

If you can't get it to work then you can email me at rbepic4gatgmaildotcom for a rebuilt exchange unit.

I'm with Chris on this one - never have had much luck with Coinco validators, although I do prefer their coin mechs.  Get a VN2512 with harness and you won't be having these issues so frequently.  Most pro refurbishers will take the BA32A as a core exchange which will save you about sixty bucks.

230v means you're not in the States.  If you're "down under" you might PM Falls or Reel as to the best place to get a replacement validator.  And then there's Kiwi across the ditch in Pakuranga (Auckland).

I'M in Illinois that is just the description that the service manual has on it for make and model we bought this machine from SAM'S Club about 10-15 years ago and has been great till now ...the company that we had upgrade to new $5 in 2008 no longer works on this type .. I recently purchase one that accepted up $10 on eBay but it only lasted 5 months
