kyle0050
Bought a vending machine and found this on there. So my question is should I be able to unbend it with some pliers and it'll work? Sorry for a stupid question was just wondering if it's even worth my time to fix it.
AZVendor
Straighten it out the best you can and as long as it isn't loose inside the plug and none of the metal is broken you should be okay.
kyle0050
Awesome thanks for the answer I just bought these and didn't know about this issue. (Stupid me didn't check when purchased) but when I was trying to get it with my keys it didn't feel loose so I'll try to straighten it.
AngryChris
It's not hard to replace the plugs if necessary, FYI.
Southeast Treats
I agree with Angry, why mess around with a bent plug that may have damage you can't see? You can buy a replacement plug at the hardware store for a buck or two, takes 5 minutes to replace it. I keep a few spares on my truck, along with a spare replacement power cord just in case.... Even if you straighten it with a pair of Lineman's pliers it could still heat up and cause a big problem. You can buy a high grade male plug end for less than 5 bucks and replace it yourself - DO NOT BUY a cheap $2 plug especially if this is a soda machine. PHX1
Just bend it back. No need to make things more complicated then they need to be.
