National shipping companies?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone recommend a company to use when purchasing machines across the country? The seller in this particular case leaves it up to the buyer. I had another seller who shipper charged insane amounts.

Any advice here is appreciated! Thanks!

If you can get the machine on a skid, wrapped in cardboard and delivered to the closest Fastenal store they offer a very low cost freight service dropped off at any one store picked up at any other store.

Just out of curiosity what is your idea of “insane amounts ”for shipping.

Good to know. $548 for one machine from GA to WA.

Venders exchange in Cleveland ships nationwide. A friend who worked in the shipping department says to Seattle it's between 4-450 for one machine but if you order more than one price drops, he estimated 8-900 for 4 machines.

$550 sounds about right if that includes the creating.

Most people live within 300 miles of a vending distributor that often include delivery in the price of the machine.

Where in the world are you? Maybe someone knows who is the local distributor.

I'm 30 mins south of Seattle. To my knowledge Seattle has nothing. Portland has 1 main guy and he gouges people on price cause he knows he's the only game around. I purchased my first 5 machines from a smaller local guy but he doesn't have anything left that I wanted for the next 5 machines so I started using eBay. And now I'm in search of 4 more.

I just Googled and searched every term I could think of again for the 1000th time and nothing new pops up for my area and distributors. Frustrating because I feel like Seattle is obviously big enough to have a couple quality distributors. Maybe I'm seeing my next career.

here's a thought - get in touch with crane national and link up with their sales rep for your region.  Even tho you are not ready to buy new equipment, they should be glad to talk to you, and can probably refer you to used dealers in the region....
