winning123
I am fairly new to this snack and beverage vending thing and I have a potential client who wants Snack, Beverage and Cold foods for 30 office staff and 65 fleet drivers. I am leaning towards swaying the client towards snack and soda only. Although the number of fleet drivers sweetens the pot but who's to say they linger around the place long enough to warrant this type of vending. Should I run or just carefully select machines to accommodate?
PHX1
No cold food. Don't count the drivers as possible customers because they are gone most of the day.
AZVendor
Yup. Just soda and snacks until they justify sales through those machines. The drivers are never around long enough to give you meaningful sales. They may have been promised food by other vendors that install it only to pull it out a few months later. Whether the client wants food or not it must pay for itself at a minimum. I would not do cold food anyway now that frozen food is so easy to do. You could even get a Fastcorp F631 machine and sell ice cream and some frozen food items from it. You would have a minimal investment in the machine that would at least sell some profitable ice cream and could then be used just about anywhere that's viable for vending.
