Is that after cost of product? The route is a little expensive if all three locations make 600 a month. Keep going your homework. Get account that can make you minimum 80 a week. Machines arnt hard to find. Good routes are .

Yes! Basically i just buying the machines but of course making money already and is 300 every 2 weeks or 600 a month.

One of the soda machine(blue one) aand snack is 3 years old account.

This would not be a wise buy.  These accounts are the guy's dreg locations as the revenue is not worth your time (or his obviously).  You really don't want any combo only locations as they seldom make much and that Futura machine is not something I'd want.  Another negative is the second "soda" machine which is just another combo machine - this one will not hold enough sodas to be worth dealing with.

Buying locations is a tricky business and this is usually the type of "deals" you'll see with people trying to dump bad locations.  Keep your powder dry and continue the search (this always requires  a lot of patience)

In photo 1 is a Vendo multiprice that is probably a Univendor 2 and a later model AP that is probably an LCM or Studio (weirdly distorted funhouse pictures), the second photo is an AMS snack and a USI CB500 soda and the third photo is a USI combo machine probably from Sams Club.  All good machines but for the USI combo which, while a USI machine, it was made for some other reseller so that model is not supported by any of USI's online manuals and subsequently hard to get parts for from USI.

This doesn't seem like a good deal, plus it's pretty far from your home. I would keep an eye out for something a little closer. If you want to really get into vending, you should be patient and find a deal that will be good for you.

Thank you guys for this help, means a lot to me.

So its not worth it for maybe 5000?

Keep in mind aalso ill be driving 59 miles from my house to service the machines twice a month

While there might be 5K in equipment here, buying routes for the machines is kind of like buying furniture before you get the house and then trying to find a house to fit the furniture.  The downside here is that none of these locations seem particularly profitable. As Rafael said, you can always find machines but getting good locations is the hard part.

If all three locations are 59 miles from you then you might as well keep them all (if you buy them) and see how you do with them.  Just remember that the first service call you have for the most simple thing will cost you significant profit for the time it costs you going 118 miles for a coin or bill jam.  That's like driving from Phoenix to Tucson for a coin jam.  In Bush's words, "Not gonna do it."  I built me entire business within the Phoenix area and never drove more than 50 miles and that was if I went from one side of the valley to the other.  If you're new in this business then these locations aren't for you.  You need conveniently located accounts so you don't end up spending all your time driving.  Until you develop accounts closer to those areas it won't be cost effective to expand to accounts that far away.  Follow the KISS business model and keep it simple.

I get the feeling that you are in a small town or rural area and there are far too many people on this forum that want to do vending in those areas but it's just not cost effective.

You have to bid this off the sales because there is only one machine there worth keeping in my opinion.

2 Crappy AP5000 machines of which there are no parts available.

1 crappy USI Ultimate machine another crappy USI Combo

The Vendo Univendor 2 is the worthwhile one and even those we are now having trouble finding rotors and other parts for.

My opinion pass and look for something closer and more suited for a beginner.

Trust me as a new company- 4 months in. 59 miles is a huge negative. You will get those calls and you will get tired of that commute. All the points made are great, I agree with pretty much everything said. Personally I'd pass and focus on a closer route or just studying up and start calling on potential accounts first, then once secured buy the machine. Worked for me!

And an average of $30 week per machine is not worth the time. Someone mentioned $80 which is definitely where you wanna be as a starting point. I learned that quickly too.

Learn everything you need to here first. Make sure you know it well enough that they think you've been doing it for years. Then go in and sell your service. Don't make over the top promises.

I recommend starting small, and working your way to bigger accounts. Start with soda only and learn the ropes. You'll need at least 5 snack machines to avoid stales, but I have 6 myself and still have too many.

Those snacks aren't AP5000s as neither has a lift handle on it and one has a late model AP coin return bezel.  For Vendo parts, I still have some of them as does Vendo.  As to the lack of parts for Vendo and other machines, that has always been what VE existed for.  VE was built to be the replacement supplier for most of what the manufacture's discontinued and I've been very disappointed to find that VE isn't there for us any longer as they used to be. I'm tired of ordering parts and hearing that my parts "Will be added to the order," meaning that no parts are ordered and not to expect to ever get them.
