BluePlate Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 OK, I just came from my local BJ's. I did a small purchase of skittles and PMM. I got to the self checkout. When I scanned the PMM, it said "instant rebate $2". My reaction was "What the ....." All 5 bags gave me a $2 instant rebate. That made a 54oz bag $5.99!! I looked for some flyer or something that had this written, couldn't find it. I have no idea how long this is going to last, but I'm going back for more!!! Their raw materials must have gone up but they shouldn't have been so quick to pass it on to their customers, (us). Maybe the rebate is their stimulus package. Ha,ha. Thanks for letting the members know about the deal. Go for them while supplies last! Hopefully, the price won't be $2 higher next month. Jax Snacks Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 I went to a BJ's today and the MMP was $5.19 per bag after the $2 rebate! However, the sign said it will expire 2/1. I don't have a BJ's membership but wanted to check them out. They also stocked Mike and Skittles. Some Sams are still at $7.19 here. You can check the price at each Sam's club online by using the click-n-pull feature and selecting bulk candy and changing the store location codes. I was able to get some products for my combo that I would not have ordinarily tried due to cost. Todd, I think I saw you in BJ's. Were you the guy running past the receipt checker lady clutching your PMM's under your arm screaming "I Paid! I Paid! It's a done deal!"
